Hey Dennis, Im one of those people that was lagiuhng a bunch and enjoyed the movie, but while listening to you rip it apart I realized youre right. In the movie, i never thought about why they were going to do the jump suits, I just wanted to see the jump suits! The movie for me, when I look back at it, was just a series of roller-coaster rides attached back to back. I definitely think the editing of a lot of scenes could have been done better. For example that odd scene when Carly is just staring blankly while cars are exploding behind her is she in shock and watching Sam (suddenly an expert parkour runner) run off to his likely death, or has she just spotted Megatron and is frozen in awe, or maybe fear? We just have no idea what shes looking at, and thats the problem. Anyways, great video, you opened up my eyes to the connective problems that I had ignored outright before. I did get Roths feeling of everything seeming anti-climactic though, like when StarScream died or when the movie ends after 20 seconds of Optimus talking.Do you know if this is Bays last Transformers movie? I cant see how he can carry it forward when he went so out of his way to kill off every single recognizable Decepticon.
